As a Patrol Armed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned government locations, helping to deter security‑related incidents while maintaining a visible presence. This is an armed and driving position, where you will respond promptly to situations, interact professionally with the public, and provide support through exceptional customer service and communication. Pay Rate: $24.74 / Hour

What You’ll Do:
  • Provide customer service by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, demonstrating professionalism at all times.
  • Conduct regular and random armed patrols around the location and its perimeter to help deter potential security‑related incidents.
  • Monitor and report any suspicious activity or security‑related hazards encountered during patrols.
  • Assist with access control, verifying identification and/or credentials as required by site‑specific policies.
  • Collaborate with local law enforcement and/or emergency responders as needed in the event of incidents.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate documentation of all activities, incidents, and observations throughout the shift.
  • Remain alert and prepared to respond to emergencies, utilizing appropriate de‑escalation and response techniques.
Minimum Requirements:
  • At least one year of armed security‑related, law enforcement, or military experience is required.
  • An armed guard card or license is required.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry‑specific security‑related training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
