As a Patrol Armed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned government locations, helping to deter security‑related incidents while maintaining a visible presence. This is an armed and driving position, where you will respond promptly to situations, interact professionally with the public, and provide support through exceptional customer service and communication. • Provide customer service by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, demonstrating professionalism at all times.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols around the location and its perimeter to help deter potential security‑related incidents.
• Monitor and report any suspicious activity or security‑related hazards encountered during patrols.
• Assist with access control, verifying identification and/or credentials as required by site‑specific policies.
• Collaborate with local law enforcement and/or emergency responders as needed in the event of incidents.
• Maintain detailed and accurate documentation of all activities, incidents, and observations throughout the shift.
• Remain alert and prepared to respond to emergencies, utilizing appropriate de‑escalation and response techniques.

• At least one year of armed security‑related, law enforcement, or military experience is required.
• An armed guard card or license is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry‑specific security‑related training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
