- Act as a visual deterrent to prevent theft, embezzlement, sabotage, fire, and accidents
- Conduct regular patrols
- Monitor activities
- Surveillance
- Access Control
- Safety escorts
- Using provided communication devices
- Represent SSNW’s brand
- Properly wear the issued uniform
- Complete Daily Activity Reports (DAR)
- Complete Incident Reports
- Work with local law enforcement, and emergency services
- Provide friendly assistance to customers, employees and visitors following the department's procedures.
- Other duties as described in the Post Orders
- Current Nevada State Armed Security Guard License
- Must have a valid driver's license and clean driving record
- EMT Background is a plus
- Smart phone to access the apps we use for scheduling, clocking in / out, and reporting.
- Reliable transportation

- Able to work non-traditional hours including swings, graveyard, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to react appropriately in high stress situations
- MINIMUM : 10 years prior Law Enforcement, Public Safety and / or Corrections experience required
- Reserve police officers encouraged to apply
- Knowledge of security protocols, and equipment
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Must be able to conduct regular walking foot patrols
- Able to stand 8-12 hours a day
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times (occasionally)
