** What You'll Do:*
* + Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a government location.

+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining a professional presence while armed as required by the post profile.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols of the property and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and observe for potential security-related issues.

+ Monitor entrances, exits, and public areas to help to deter unwanted activity and report any irregularities according to site procedures.

+ Maintain detailed and accurate records of daily activities, observations, and incidents as required by Allied Universal and site-specific protocols.

+ Interact with the public, employees, and visitors in a courteous and professional manner while upholding the policies of the location.

+ Work collaboratively with law enforcement and/or emergency personnel when required by incidents or emergencies at the location.

* Minimum Requirements:

*
* + At least one year of armed security, law enforcement, or military experience is required.

+ An armed guard card or license is required.

+ A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

+ Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Participate in industry-specific security training programs.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

+ A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
