You will diagnose, install, maintain, and repair household appliances such as refrigerators, washers, ovens. You will troubleshoot issues, replace parts, use hand and specialized tools, adhere to safety/environmental rules, and provide excellent customer service, including explaining repairs, providing estimates, and handling billing.

• Diagnosis & Repair:
  Inspect, troubleshoot, disassemble, repair, and reassemble appliances; test for proper function; replace or adjust mechanical, electrical, or electronic parts.
• Installation:
  Install new large appliances including washers, dryers, dishwashers, and ovens.
• Customer Service:
  Respond to calls, explain issues, provide cost estimates, offer repair or replacement advice, train customers, collect payments.
• Documentation & Compliance:
  Maintain records of repairs, parts used, time; handle refrigerant recovery, recycling per federal law; manage inventory.
• Safety:
  Adhere to safety regulations, inspect gas lines, handle hazardous materials safely.

• Technical
  
  Skills:
  
  Strong electrical/mechanical knowledge; read schematics/manuals; proficiency with tools; understanding of refrigeration cycles; EPA Section 608 Certification.
• Soft Skills:
  
  Excellent communication, problem solving, customer focus, time management, attention to detail, teamwork.
• Physical Ability:
  Dexterity, strength to lift heavy items, ability to work in various conditions.
• Education:
  
  High school diploma or equivalent.
