$39.00/hr - $64.89/hr

The Systems Technician installs new electrical systems and repairs existing electrical systems while maintaining compliance with national, state and local electrical codes. This position will be handling low-voltage work at a large construction project off of USA Parkway.

• Program, commission and start-up of Low Voltage systems including but not limited to (Fire Alarm, Security, Access Control and Surveillance)
• Installation and testing of low voltage devices, wiring and rough-in
• Supervises, directs, monitors, trains and works alongside helpers, installers, telecom techs or electricians
• Instructs employees assisting them in the correct operation of tools and equipment, safe work principles and technical principles that are being used
• Provides input on employee evaluations
• Completes all assignment-related paperwork accurately and in a timely manner
• Attends all foreman meetings
• Regular, reliable, predictable attendance with minimal loss of work time
• Collaborates with Fire Marshal on project final inspections
• Effectively trouble shoot and diagnose installation and programming issues
• Identifies, schedules and facilitates all jobsite related inspections with Customer and Field Service Manager

Rex Moore pays hourly/salary rates commensurate with each employee’s knowledge, experience and skill level.

• Wearing of personal protective equipment (PPE), always including a hard hat, safety glasses, gloves, work boots and high viz vest / shirt
• Working around energized equipment
• Working days, night, weekends, and overtime as required
• Willing and able to work in confined and/or small spaces
• Constant collaboration with fellow team members
• This role requires working in all elements, depending on job location, time of year, heat, cold, rain & snow
