Building Maintenance Technician

The Building Maintenance Technician is responsible for building and property maintenance, clearing debris, and refurbishing building components to ensure a quality guest experience.

• Perform routine inspections and repairs to all areas of the property.
• Respond promptly to all aspects of hotel construction maintenance, including paint, carpentry, wallpaper, tile and marble, plumbing, electrical, and the hotel rooms and halls.
• Work efficiently and safely with all hand and power tools.
• Provide training and guidance to new hires and coworkers on general operations, equipment operations, and safety standards.
• Maintain constant awareness of safety problems and report unsafe conditions to management.
• Conduct regular safety inspections and address any potential hazards to ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations.
• Complete annual Respirator training and fit test.

• Maintenance experience in home renovations, hotel operations, or facilities is preferred.
• Available to work flexible hours, including overtime, holidays, and weekends as needed.
• Ability to perform manual labor and lift up to 75 lbs.
• Ability to solve problems and work under pressure.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
