Carpenter; Reno. AZ

Holder Construction is seeking applicants for the position of Carpenter for our project located in Reno, NV.

• Constructing and maintaining safety handrails, hole protection, steps, gang ladders, and temporary weather enclosures and protection.
• Performing tasks such as sawing, stripping, nailing, burning, measuring, tightening/loosening bolts, drilling, and other duties as assigned by supervisor.
• Experience working with concrete would be great.

• Minimum 5 years of construction experience.
• Ability to read basic drawings and trained on construction safety protocols (OSHA 10, fall protection, mobile elevated platform).
• Strong teamwork, independent work on assignments, manage multiple projects, flexible, and meet tight deadlines.
• High school diploma or GED (plus).
• Strong time management skills.
• Agile/mobile, alert, ability to stand/walk for long periods, manipulate objects, climb ladders and scaffolds, work at uneven surfaces/heights.
• Ability to lift/carry materials 50-100 lbs (75% of the time).
• Must be able to see/have vision correction and hear well.
• Must work in an OSHA compliant safety environment, outside, overtime and weekend hours; punctuality and promptness required daily.
