We are currently seeking a Traveling GPS Technician to join our team in Reno, NV
. Responsible for the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and support of GPS tracking systems across a fleet of vehicles and equipment. This role involves frequent travel to various job sites and regional offices to ensure GPS systems are functioning optimally.

• Install GPS tracking devices on fleet vehicles and heavy equipment.
• Test and verify proper functionality of GPS units post‑installation.
• Diagnose and repair GPS hardware and connectivity issues in the field.
• Travel to multiple locations across regions to perform on‑site service and support.
• Maintain accurate records of installations, service calls, and equipment status.
• Provide technical support and training to field personnel on GPS usage and troubleshooting.
• Perform firmware updates and system calibrations as needed.
• Coordinate with fleet management and IT teams to ensure data accuracy and system integration.
• Manage inventory of GPS units, tools, and installation supplies.
• Follow safety protocols and ensure compliance with company and regulatory standards.

• Experience with GPS systems, vehicle electronics, or telematics preferred.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and familiarity with vehicle electrical systems.
• Ability to travel extensively, including overnight stays.
• Excellent problem‑solving and communication skills.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Ability to pass a drug screen and background check.
