The Nevada Department of Transportation is recruiting for Highway Equipment Mechanic II in Reno, NV. The role includes supervising lower level mechanics in a major shop, training staff, and scheduling maintenance; you will diagnose, repair, and overhaul a wide range of heavy equipment and engines, including diesel/gas engines, hydraulics, and electrical systems.
Incumbents also supervise shop operations in remote satellite locations and may act as a Class II Emission Inspector.
