As a Senior Software Engineer on our Trading – Valuation and Analytics Team, you will design, develop, and maintain complex, scalable applications for our Trade Order Management solution.

• Apply trading domain knowledge, financial quantitative expertise, and technical skills to create solutions where design, strategy, and engineering closely intersect.
• Participate in the full software development lifecycle: requirements, design reviews, implementation, testing, and deployment, as we expand asset classes throughout the platform.
• Shape and optimize a tech stack leveraging AWS back‑end services to build robust, scalable applications.
• Develop developer automation to produce high‑quality, scalable applications that customers rely on.
• Advocate best design and development practices and mentor product engineering teams.
• Own problems, seek creative solutions, and communicate progress clearly.
• Work collaboratively in a learning‑oriented, transparent environment.

• 5+ years of software engineering experience with a history of architecting and designing new products.
• Expert level knowledge in Java or Kotlin (preferred) or equivalent.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related discipline.
• Proven experience applying Design Patterns, OOAD/SOLID principles, and automated unit tests.
• Strong motivation to explore and adopt new technologies while navigating complex codebases independently.
• Enjoyment of working with motivated/supportive engineers to deliver impactful solutions.
• Strong problem‑solving skills and technical challenge aptitude.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Positive attitude and genuine interest in having fun at work.

• Experience engineering in buy‑side order management systems.
• Working knowledge of complex financial instruments and valuations.
• Background in mathematics.

Typical starting salary range for this role: $174,500 – $205,000 (select locations may range $185,000 – $220,000). Base salary is one component of final compensation, which is influenced by experience and expertise.
