POSITION SUMMARY
The Game Day Grounds Crew is primarily responsible for maintaining the professional appearance and functionality of the playing field.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES

• Set up and remove batting practice equipment
• Prepare the game field, including dragging, and maintaining the infield during games
• Sweep and water the mound(s) and home plate area, clean and wash bases
• Cover and remove the field tarp as needed
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of work tools and workspace
• Perform in-game field maintenance, including quick repairs or adjustments as needed
• Assist with additional field maintenance tasks as directed by supervisors
• Other duties as assigned

• Outgoing, energetic, and proactive personality with a commitment to delivering outstanding customer service
• Strong verbal communication skills with the ability to read and understand instructions, correspondence, and memos
• Capacity to interact professionally with guests, team members, and supervisors
• Completion of a satisfactory background check

WORK ENVIRONMENT

• Work in fast-paced environment
• Flexibility to work long hours, evenings, weekends, and some holidays
• Minimal travel required

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

• Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time, stoop, kneel, crouch, and climb stairs
• Must have close, distant and peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus
