We are currently seeking a General Accountant to join our Administration team in Renton, WA. This individual will be responsible for day-to-day accounting operations including providing back-up for payroll, AP, and AR while supporting our initiative to streamline, simplify and automate all Accounting processes and systems. Specific duties include:

• Assist with maintaining general ledger accounts and preparing routine journal entries
• Support month-end close activities, including account reconciliations and variance review
• Maintain accurate financial records in accordance with GAAP and company policies

• Support vendor setup, customer account maintenance, and issue resolution
• Assist with payment processing and account reconciliations
• Assist with processing high-volume vendor invoices
• Support team in implementation of new customer payment portal.

• Provide payroll backup for local and out of state offices including Oregon and Florida.
• Support payroll system administration and maintenance

• Participate in accounting and operational projects to improve efficiency and accuracy
• Assist with documenting and improving accounting procedures and workflows
• Support system enhancements, reporting improvements, and basic automation initiatives

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
• 1–3 years of accounting experience, preferably in similar industry
• Prior experience supporting multi-state payroll, preferably experience with Washington, Oregon, and Florida
• Exposure to high-volume AP and AR environments with many customers and vendors
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting/payroll systems
• Experience Great Plains and UKG, preferred
• Strong interest in process improvement and automation
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Willingness to learn and take on new responsibilities
