Job Title: Senior Design Manager
Department: Marketing
Reports To: Creative Director
SUMMARYThe Senior Graphic Designer will lead key brand initiatives for the Seahawks, overseeing design projects, managing team members and contributing to the growth and development of the Design Team. This role combines hands‑on creative work with leadership responsibilities to ensure the Seahawks brand is expressed with innovation and consistency.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES- Collaborate with the Creative Director to define and execute design strategies for the Seahawks brand
- Supervise and mentor multiple designers, providing regular feedback, art direction and career development support
- Develop comprehensive style guides for major events and season-long campaigns
- Design and produce assets for internal clients across digital and print platforms
- Act as a visual storyteller, exploring innovative ways to bring the Seahawks brand to life
- Champion the design process by partnering with internal and external stakeholders to ensure smooth workflows and advocate for creative needs
- Work closely with the Creative Director and Design Project Manager to manage team workloads, assign projects and monitor timelines
- Build and maintain relationships with external contractors, artists and vendors
- Foster a collaborative and inspiring environment within the design team, encouraging creativity and excellence
- Strong visual design skills
- 8-10 years of professional design experience
- Experience managing designers and the ability to anticipate needs and obstacles to keep creativity as the top priority for the team
- Creative and curious mind that is ready to push the Seahawks brand forward
- Talented free‑hand artist
- Advanced knowledge of the Adobe Creative Suite
- Ability to multitask design and development projects
- A passion for sports and design
- Bachelor's degree from a college or university
- Demonstrated expertise using the following design software:
Photo Shop, Illustrator, After Effects
- The salary range for this position is: $100,000 – $120,000. The salary range applies to the current posting. The posted salary range may vary based on key factors including, but not limited to, education, job‑related knowledge, experience and skill set.
