Urgent Care Physician, Full-Time - Maple Valley Clinic

Valley Medical Center (VMC) is actively recruiting afull-time (1.0 FTE) Urgent Care Physician tojoin our Maple Valley clinic in our collaborative network where you will have easy access to system-wide support as you work alongside a highly motivated and skilled Urgent Care team. We provide patient-centered, team-based care to a diverse population of patients. Our Urgent Care teams have produced multiple 'Provider of the Year' award winners within our organization.

About the position:

• Clinic Hours - Open 7 days/week (7a-7p M-F, 8a-4p Sa-Su; Holiday- weekday 7a-3p, weekend 8a-4p)
• General Schedule - 12-hours shifts Monday - Friday; weekends 8-hour shifts; every other weekend (2/month)
• Limited call expectations
• Average # of patients seen per day 25-30 average/peak Flu/Cold slightly higher (30-35)
• Support staff- average 3 PSRs per shift, 5 MAs, 3 Providers
• Practitioners
  - At least one physician is staffed with the APPs (ARNP/Pas) per shift

Qualifications:

• BE/BC in Urgent Care, Family Medicine, Internal Medicine or Emergency Medicine
• Ability to obtain medical professional license in the State of WA and DEA with full prescriptive authority

Total Compensation:$275,000 + incentives

Amounts listed may include productivity, quality incentives, extra shift incentives applicable to the position.
