Current Salary
Schedule:
$29.36-$34.17 based on years of experience. Salaries will increase by 2.5% for the 2025-26 school year above what is shown in the current salary schedule.
Experience for work in public schools will be granted for prior classroom experience for para educator positions or for prior office experience for office staff.
Qualifications / RequirementsPara educator
Minimum Qualifications:
- To be eligible for employment, candidates must upload to their application:
- A copy of their high school diploma AND
- Documentation of one of the following:
- a. A copy of an official college transcript indicating an AA degree or higher OR
- b. 72 quarter or 48 semester credits earned in 100 level and higher courses OR
- c. Official documentation of a passing score on the ETS Para Pro assessment or Master Class assessment
