Join to apply for the Para educator - Teacher Academy Graduates role at Renton School District.
Position Information: Hours per day depend on the position. Days per week: M-F. Work calendar: 181 or 182 days + paid holidays (see RSD Work Calendars). Pay level: RESP 1 or RESP 2 (see Current Salary Schedule). Experience for work in public schools will be granted for prior classroom experience for para educator positions or for prior office experience for office roles.
Start and end times may vary by location and school schedule.
Applicants must be graduates of the Renton School District Teacher Academy.
Para educator Minimum Qualifications: To be eligible for employment, candidates must upload to their application:
- A copy of their high school diploma AND
- Documentation of one of the following:
- A copy of an official college transcript indicating an AA degree or higher OR
- 72 quarter or 48 semester credits earned in 100 level and higher courses OR
- Official documentation of a passing score on the ETS Para Pro assessment (for assessment scheduling, contact Human Resources at ).
