• Tutor students in English. Grade levels range from pre-K to 11th grade.
• Review and check-off student classwork and essays during class time to ensure understanding.
• Be responsible for student progress, satisfaction, and experience.
• No grading needed outside of class time. Teaching materials and curriculum provided.

• At least Sophomore standing in a college or university.
• Knowledge of correct grammar, spelling, and English usage.
• An educator who must be comfortable with following established curriculum models and content without deviation.
• Have strong classroom and student management skills with the ability to balance the needs of all students.
• Invested in student improvement and results‑oriented.
• Ability to deal with students in a caring and confident manner.
• Experience in a tutorial program is preferred, but not required!
• Special consideration for those who want to be teachers.

• Shifts are 4 to 5 hours on weekdays and/or 3 hours on weekend mornings
• Weekday shifts from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM
• Weekend shifts from 9:30 AM to 12:00 PM

Compensation: $20.50 - $25.00 per hour

The children are incredibly smart (some of the smartest I have ever come across, given the age ranges) and genuinely want to learn. There may be some students that struggle, but the material is designed to help them and is easy for an instructor to explain.
