Part‑Time Aviation InstructorPosition located in the Renton/Auburn/South Park, WA area. The Instructor will teach onsite classes, predominantly in the 1st and 2nd shifts. Course content is already created; the Instructor is not responsible for content creation.

- Utilise teaching aids such as training handbooks, demonstration models, multimedia visual aids, computer tutorials and reference works.
- Apply learning techniques to ensure student retention and prove competency in specific tasks and behaviours.
- Manage the course training environment to enable the content to be delivered as designed.
- Deliver training sessions covering specified areas of technical specialty.
- Deploy learning assessments to measure progress and evaluate the effectiveness of recommended training.
- Travel to client sites as needed.
- Participate in and prepare to deliver other courses within expertise domain knowledge areas.
- Experience in the aviation/aerospace industry.
- Experience as an instructor in a classroom environment.
- Ability to manage basic technology to deliver training.
- Knowledge of CMES (Common Manufacturing Execution System) is a plus.
- Understand adult learning principles and recognise the dynamics and behavioural styles of participants to effectively guide discussion.
- Challenge learners’ assumptions to expose gaps between knowledge, action and beliefs.
- Facilitate dialogue that helps learners make sense of content and build confidence.
- Be flexible and resourceful to solve immediate problems and get help when needed.
General physical requirements needed to perform the essential functions of this job may vary based on location of assignment. Assignment location:
Renton, WA.
- Sedentary work – exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, including the human body.
- Fingering (typing), communicating and repetitive motions.
- Close visual acuity to prepare and analyse data, view computer monitors and read. May need to view presentation screens and other visual aids in a virtual setting.
