Industrial Automation Project Engineer

Overview

Engineering and design role focused on control system hardware and software programming for building automation. Interfaces with customers, manages sub-contractors and suppliers, and takes project financial responsibility as tenure increases.

• Complete control system overall design responsibility
• Control programming and graphic development
• Manage the start-up and commissioning of Automation Systems
• Engineer field changes and maintain as-built documentation
• Conduct on-site owner training as part of project closeout
• Manage time to complete assignments on time and within budget

This position requires a combination of working in an office environment and routine visits to project job sites up to 50% of working hours. Job sites may have typical construction and outdoor conditions requiring PPE. Lifting up to 50 pounds occasionally, and up to 70 pounds with assistance; climbing ladders infrequently. Small repetitive motions and use of small tools are expected.

Annual base salary ranges from $68,000 - $124,000 depending on experience. Benefits summary available upon request.

• Engineering undergraduate degree
• Equivalent combination of education and experience
• Computer programming experience
• Building mechanical system experience
• Experience with electronics and basic electrical circuits
