Liaison Engineer

JOB DUTIES:

Develops complex MRB dispositions of high impact requiring innovation and a wide range of technical knowledge. Requires guidance from senior engineers on highly complex issues. Makes preliminary design proposals to complex engineering issues. Works with technical designers in the development of design solutions. Provides solutions to complex production problems of high impact and limited scope. Routinely expresses intent of design where define data is unclear.

Leads team of technical personnel engaged in issues of limited scope and impact. Frequently interfaces with customers or suppliers to clarify engineering data or customer requirements.

SKILLS:

Requires good communication and conflict resolution skills. Prior MRB experience required. Structures, composites, or systems knowledge and experience desired. Ability to work all shifts required. We support manufacturing 24/7. Everyone is expected to perform their share of 2nd shift, 3rd shift and overtime assignments. Requires a BS degree in engineering and typically a minimum of 8 years' experience in an engineering classification.

BSME, BSCE preferred. Other engineering degrees will be considered dependent upon structures, composites, or systems knowledge and experience. Job Location s:
We provide technical support to manufacturing operations in Washington and Oregon. Our work may affect any parts built within the facilities found in the above locations.
