Overview

Sales Engineer – Building Automation & Mechanical Systems. We’re looking for a Sales Engineer to join a high-performing team committed to delivering exceptional building automation and mechanical solutions across a wide range of industries—from data centers and healthcare to education and government.

This role supports the USA & Canadian market and offers a base pay range and opportunities for growth.

Base pay range

$85,000.00/yr - $/yr

What You’ll Do
  • Build and maintain long-term B2B relationships with clients, architects, engineers, contractors, and building owners
  • Provide expert consultation on building control and mechanical systems
  • Estimate control system hardware and installation costs based on plans and specifications
  • Collaborate with engineering and technical teams to ensure successful project delivery
  • Host presentations and industry seminars to inform and influence stakeholders
  • Manage project financials and track performance

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities
  • A collaborative approach and ability to work independently
  • Working knowledge of DDC control theory and mechanical system applications
  • A degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or related Engineering field
  • Hands-on experience with building or mechanical systems
  • Prior B2B sales experience in a technical or engineering-related field
  • Familiarity with DDC Control Theory & HVAC applications

Other Details
  • Monday–Friday, full-time, exempt role
  • Local travel up to 30%, with occasional out-of-state trips
  • 50% of time spent on job sites—must be comfortable in active construction environments and able to climb ladders and perform minor tool work
