Associate Occupational Health and Safety Specialist
Join Boeing to apply for a dedicated Associate Occupational Health and Safety Specialist within the Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) team in the Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) division. This role is critical in ensuring workforce health and safety and promoting environmental stewardship across commercial aircraft operations.
Responsibilities- Support planning, implementation, and assessment of occupational health and safety programs and processes.
- Draft health and safety programs that establish consistent approaches to risk reduction and compliance.
- Investigate safety and health incidents and complaints.
- 1+ year of experience performing Occupational Safety and/or Industrial Hygiene duties in an industrial environment.
- 1+ year of experience working in Environmental Health and Safety (EHS).
- 1+ year of experience performing health and safety risk assessments, developing and managing safety programs, and performing audits.
- Experience developing and implementing process improvements.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher.
- Experience addressing occupational health and safety hazards related to aircraft flight and ground operations (Renton, Seattle, Everett and Tukwila sites).
- Experience with aircraft systems.
- Experience with hazardous energy control programs.
The position is available in Renton, Auburn, Seattle, Everett, or Tukwila, WA.
Employment DetailsFull-time, onsite 100% at one of the listed locations. Variable shift. U.S. Person export control compliance required. Relocation offered based on candidate eligibility. Visa sponsorship is not provided.
Pay & BenefitsCompetitive base pay range: $80,750 – $109,250. Total Rewards package includes health insurance, flexible spending accounts, retirement savings plans, and paid/unpaid time off.
