As a Sales Estimator, bridge technical requirements and commercial strategy by crafting early-stage automation solutions and drive accurate estimates and proposals. You will also have the opportunity to:
- Provide consulting support to architects, engineers, contractors, and owners for industrial control and Mechanical/Electrical Systems.
- Estimate control system hardware and installation costs based on project plans, specifications, and other contract documents.
- Interface with ATS engineers and technicians to ensure successful project implementation.
- Support industry presentations and seminars to educate and influence the consulting, contracting, and building engineering community.
- Direct project financial responsibility is also important in the sales engineering position.
- Our customer base includes but is not limited to data centers, power generation facilities, high-tech manufacturing facilities, hospital and healthcare facilities, government buildings, school districts, and higher education buildings.

- Fluent with Microsoft Office Applications
- Experience developing detailed project estimates and scopes of work.
- Ability to work independently and unsupervised
- Knowledge of PLC and SCADA control theory, applications, and mechanical systems
- Degree in Engineering – Mechanical and Electrical Engineering are most common, but other disciplines are welcomed, too
- Mechanical and Electrical systems experience
- Professional business-to-business sales experience
- Knowledge of PLC/SCADA Control Theory & Applications and Mechanical systems
- Annual base salary range for entry-level candidates is $75,000-$95,000
- This is a full-time, exempt position. Typical workdays are Monday-Friday
- Monday-Friday with flexibility as needed to meet proposal deadlines, attend industry events, etc.
