Position Overview

The Boeing Company – Finance Shared Services is seeking a dynamic and talented Associate (Level
2)
or Experienced Financial Analyst (Level
3)
to join the Finance Analysis Center of Excellence (COE) Indirect team supporting Information Digital Technology & Security (IDT&S), Corporate Functions or Enterprise Services in Everett
, Renton
, or Seattle, Washington
. Relocation assistance is available for qualified candidates. This role plays a crucial part in guiding business decisions and supporting key operations.

Position Responsibilities
  • Collect, compile, manipulate, and document source data to support analysis of resource allocations and forecasts.
  • Develop performance reports and integrate variance analyses for senior management.
  • Provide financial performance projections and recommendations to senior leadership.
  • Maintain cost and schedule performance measurement baselines, leveraging earned‑value management practices, and communicate trends.
  • Support process‐improvement initiatives and act as a finance representative lead in cross‑business/COE engagements.
  • Collaborate with IDT&S, Corporate Functions, or Enterprise Services to develop guidance and drive functional integration for compliant global operations.
  • Analyze key performance indicators to improve process cycle time, quality, and timeliness.
  • Train and mentor junior analysts and complete peer reviews.
  • Maintain a positive attitude and willingness to serve as a change agent.

Basic Qualifications (Required)
  • Bachelor’s Degree or higher.
  • 1+ years of experience in a business‑related function (Finance, Contracts, Estimating, Procurement, Supplier Management, etc.).
  • 1+ years of experience using Microsoft Excel (formulas, VLOOKUPs, pivot tables, charts, filters, and linking worksheets).
  • 1+ years of experience working with large data sets (advanced Excel, Power Pivot, Tableau, and/or Microsoft Power BI).
Preferred Qualifications (Desired)
  • 3+ years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Experience creating executive‑level presentations using Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
  • Experience performing Estimates at Completion (EAC) and working with financial tools.
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
  • Process‑improvement experience in Value Stream Mapping or similar reviews.
  • Experience leading teams or projects.
  • Ability to drive functional integration for compliant global operations (international).
  • Project management skills and ability to manage multiple simultaneous projects.
  • Adaptability to rapidly changing environments and meeting deliverables.
  • Proficient verbal and written communication skills, both virtual and in person.
