Principal IS Applications Analyst

Providence is seeking a seasoned IS Applications Analyst to lead the design, development, and optimization of custom applications critical to our healthcare operations, including ERP, Epic, Revenue Cycle, HR, and Supply Chain systems.

We offer hybrid work options for candidates residing within a 65‑mile commuting distance of our primary office locations. Hybrid work schedules will be determined by the manager based on departmental needs.

Responsibilities

• Identify technology solutions to address business challenges and improve efficiency.
• Develop and maintain the technology roadmap, monitoring its effectiveness against organizational goals.
• Lead and support multiple technology projects, including new solutions, system implementations, upgrades, and enhancements in collaboration with business stakeholders.
• Manage implementations of system upgrades and enhancements to align with departmental goals.
• Ensure compliance with security requirements and oversee implementation for approved software solutions.
• Create and manage technical project plans, schedules, and resources, including requirements, specifications, and design documentation.
• Communicate project status, progress, and issues to stakeholders; facilitate decision‑making and resolve technical challenges.
• Analyze and document complex workflows and automation within technology platforms.
• Facilitate project meetings, including kick‑offs, design reviews, progress updates, and closure activities.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Business Management, or Information Services (or equivalent education, skills, and experience).
• 10+ years of experience as a business systems analyst in a relevant domain.

Preferred Qualifications

• 5+ years of deep business knowledge/experience within a related application domain.
• 5+ years of project or product management experience and familiarity with toolkits.
• 5+ years of experience working within corporate legal, risk, or compliance teams.
• Proven expertise in decision‑making, prioritization, conflict resolution, community building, and delivering on commitments.
• Strong ability to define hypotheses, requirements, metrics, and applications in collaboration with both business and technical stakeholders.
• Skill in analyzing complex systems and interpreting large‑scale data from diverse sources using advanced tools.
• Expert‑level knowledge of Agile methodologies.
• Preferred experience with tools such as iManage, Riskonnect, and Legal Tracker.
• Demonstrated success in supporting new initiatives and a solid understanding of technology tools used in legal, risk, or compliance environments.

  Min: $71.23, Max: $121.29
• Oregon – Portland:
  Min: $68.33, Max: $116.36
• Washington – Vancouver:
  Min: $68.33, Max: $116.36
