Industrial Maintenance Technician

Lumicor designs and manufactures innovative architectural panels and solutions for architects and designers. You will be responsible for utilizing your skills to perform a variety of hands‑on tasks including preventative maintenance, reactive breakdown repair and machinery upgrades.

• Provide daily preventative maintenance specified by the Facility Maintenance Manager or Supervisor
• Assist the Maintenance Supervisor in repairing machine breakdowns
• Ensure all work complies with maintenance, safety and environmental programs
• Observe safety and security procedures and report unsafe conditions
• Conduct monthly safety walk‑thru to ensure compliance with safety, fire and building code standards
• Work with the Facility Maintenance Manager on plant improvement projects
• Maintain cleanliness of all production equipment and the facility
• Be able to work at heights and in steamy or cold atmospheres
• Lift 50–75 lbs on occasion
• Willing to work nights and weekends on occasion
• Contribute to building a positive team spirit and support everyone’s efforts to succeed

• Working knowledge of hydraulics, boilers, pneumatics, chillers, HVAC, PLC and CNC equipment, hand tools and power tools
• Aptitude for mechanical, electrical and steam control tasks
• Experience with a variety of hand tools
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Organized self‑starter who works independently
• Self‑motivated, flexible and proven customer relation skills
• Basic computer skills
• Plant maintenance experience
• Track record of implementing continuous improvement within a manufacturing environment

$28.00/hr – $30.00/hr
