As a Maintenance Technician, you will ensure the proper functioning and maintenance of equipment used in the production of bubble wrap, mailers, and other packaging products. Your responsibilities include troubleshooting, repairing, and performing preventative maintenance on production machinery, electrical systems, and facility equipment to minimize downtime and maximize operational efficiency.

• Perform routine preventative maintenance on production machinery (extruders, winders, bag lines, etc.) to ensure optimal performance and reduce equipment failures
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic issues on manufacturing equipment in a timely manner
• Respond to emergency repair requests and provide timely solutions to minimize downtime
• Collaborate with production staff to ensure smooth and uninterrupted operation of machinery
• Maintain and repair facility systems (e.g., lighting) to ensure a safe and efficient working environment
• Document maintenance activities, repairs, and completed work orders in the maintenance management system
• Support the installation and commissioning of new equipment as required
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards during all maintenance activities
• Assist in training junior technicians or new hires on proper maintenance procedures and best practices

$32 – $38/hr, depending on experience

• High school diploma or equivalent required; technical certification or associate degree in Industrial Maintenance, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering is a plus
• 2+ years of experience in a manufacturing or industrial maintenance role, preferably in packaging or similar production environments
• Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems
• Proficient in troubleshooting and repairing machinery and equipment used in production
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints
• Good problem‑solving skills and ability to think critically under pressure
• Strong communication skills to collaborate with team members and supervisors
• Ability to work independently and take initiative to resolve maintenance issues
• Comfortable working in a fast‑paced, high‑pressure environment
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends, evenings, and overtime as needed
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a demanding environment
