Pay: $21.75 – $25.75 (FT, Non‑Exempt)

Job Description

Position

The Laminator performs a variety of techniques to laminate composite components according to drawings and Standard Work Instruction (SWI).

Responsibilities
  • Lay‑up composite materials on mandrels per the manufacturing plan and SWI; wrap mold with composite materials in preparation for curing to form composite parts.
  • Check documentation accuracy of manufacturing planning; report discrepancies and schedule concerns to the supervisor.
  • Verify materials match the manufacturing plan.
  • Verify part  and sign off on work performed.
  • Adhere to schedules and time allowances, takt time, for production requirements.
Experience
  • One year of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities in a manufacturing environment preferred.
  • Experience in composite manufacturing a plus.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Ability to read and understand detailed instructions and follow demonstrated steps.
  • Basic understanding of process specifications.
  • Acute attention to detail.
  • Excellent hand‑eye coordination.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Basic math and computer skills.
Computer Skills
  • Basic computer skills.
Working Conditions
  • Usually work indoors; sites may not be temperature controlled.
  • Exposure to loud sounds and distracting noise levels.
  • Exposure to hazardous equipment and contaminants.
  • Shared work spaces with other employees.
  • Requires handling objects up to 30 lbs.
  • Lifting, pushing, pulling, and bending.
  • Standing and/or walking for 8 to 12 or more hours per day (varies by role, shift, and overtime).
