Pay Rate: $40.00/hr. to $45.00/hr. on W2

Shift Timing (Day/ Evening/ Night): 1st, 2nd & 3rd shift 40 hrs./week

Duration: 6+ Months

• Seal, fillet and fay, cap seal, brush coat, etc. for major assemblies, sub-assemblies, precision bench and integral fuel cell.
• Apply scotch cast, leveling compound, aerodynamic seal and pressure test, using drawings, documents, process specifications, quality control requirements and established procedures.

• Work with blueprints, changes, specifications, work orders, etc. sealing to quality requirements.
• Complete required data gathering transactions to facilitate all sealer progression.
• Perform any and all required pickup, rework, fabrication, change incorporation, functional testing or check during or after final seal and/or seal progression.
• Use measuring instruments as required to accomplish work assignments.
• Report and/or investigate job handicaps such as errors, assembly procedures, tools, sequences, etc.
• Support the continuous flow of product within the manufacturing process by training, coaching and assisting employees of all classification levels.
• Document any discrepancies according to specification, process, and procedure.
• Temporarily attach parts and or assemblies, install collars and other hardware not related to drilling or countersinking.

• Apply sealing compounds to seal fuel cell and related wing section components.

• Must be able to work either shift.
• Must be eligible for rehire at BOEING.
• 737 rework – sheet metal mechanics; a structures background is helpful.
• Client will schedule/pay for flights (Mileage reimbursement is offered if candidate chooses to drive instead of fly).
• Client is offering hotel reimbursement for training only while in Wichita.
• Pay Rate plus $110 per diem/week paid to workers.
• Training will take place in Wichita, KS or in Renton, WA (TBD).
• * Dependent upon workload there can be overtime. Have no way to GUARANTEE overtime.*
• Must be able to pass the Plate Test.
• Blueprint required.
