Blue Pearl Pet Hospital is hiring a Relief Licensed Veterinary Technician in our ER department at Blue Pearl Pet Hospital in Renton.
LVT I Pay: $25.60 - $36.80 per hour. This pay band is a starting point and is dependent on experience and advancement through Kahuna leveling system.
We also offer competitive shift differential pay for eligible hours worked for nights and weekends.
- Shift differentials are based on a 4-hour minimum.
- Mon – Fri: 6pm to 8am = $4.00 Shift Differential
- Sat & Sun: 6pm to 8am = $5.50 Shift Differential
- Sat & Sun: 8am to 6pm = $4.00 Shift Differential

Responsibilities- Triage and obtain patient history
- Identify patients at risk for arrest and initiate CPR
- Place IVC's and advanced catheters such as Jugular catheters, Central Lines, or PICC lines
- Perform advanced radiographs
- Monitor and care for ventilator cases
- Level 2 & 3 inpatient care
- Work alongside other skilled technicians and assistants in providing excellent, advanced medicine to patients
- Have a passion for mentoring and training other co-workers
