Tasks and Responsibilities:
Document & Configuration Control:
- Maintain control of customer drawings, technical specifications, engineering standards, and quality records in compliance with AS9100 quality management system requirements.
- Perform configuration control to ensure only current, approved revisions of technical documents are accessible for production.
- Archive obsolete records and maintain revision history logs to safeguard against unauthorized document changes.
- Review upcoming manufacturing orders to identify required raw materials, hardware, and components against job bills of materials (BOMs).
- Cross-reference drawing and specification revisions listed on job travelers against customer purchase orders and latest engineering updates to ensure 100% revision match.
- Identify revision mismatches, engineering change notices (ECNs), or missing customer specifications before production release.
- Manage the status and activation of job travelers in the ERP system.
- Activate job travelers in the ERP system once configuration, revisions, and material availability are fully validated.
- Place job travelers on administrative or material hold when required materials, tooling, or documentation are on order, incomplete, or pending quality approval.
Production Release:
- Print finalized, approved job travelers and associated operation packets.
- Physically deliver traveler packets to affected production work centers and brief shop floor leads on special customer instructions or configuration details as necessary.
- Monitor active travelers to ensure shop floor personnel are utilizing correct, released documentation.
- Comply with all Aero-Plastics’ Quality Management System and policies
- Ensure workstation cleanliness and safe working conditions
- Respond to change productively and handle other duties as required
Education & Experience:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- 1+ years of document control or quality management experience within an AS9100 or ISO 9001 aerospace/defense manufacturing environment.
- Demonstrated experience working with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems such as Job Boss, JD Edwards, SAP, etc.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and creating Adobe portfolios using document editing/archiving tools.

The final compensation offered to the candidate may be based on geographical location, work experience and/or skill level. Additions to the compensation package, including but not limited to paid time off, insurance benefits and 401(k) eligibility will be outlined at the time of the job offer.
Compensation range: $21.57-$25.00 per hour
