Join Target as a Specialty Sales (Style, Tech, Beauty) role. Starting hourly rate is $22.00 with pay range $22.00–$33.00 per hour.

A team of consultants who understand what it means to meet our guests where they are at and deliver for them through strong operations, incredible guest experience and compelling visual merchandising presentations that inspire guests and build the basket.

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Drive sales and deliver a guest‑ready floorpad by executing visual standards, inspirational & promotional signing, and staying knowledgeable on assortment and brand offerings.
• Leverage store tools to understand sales, inventory ownership, and support guest needs.
• Sort truck freight, push freight to the sales floor, and locate merchandise in the backroom based on business needs.
• Set visual presentations & visual merchandising guides to support guest experience and sales.
• Maintain product availability by executing priority fills, manual fills, and merchandising to capacity.
• Execute & maintain backroom organization, including locating merchandise to support replenishment, fulfillment, and guest requests.
• Remerchandise presentations as they sell through using best practices.
• Support price‑change processes, including clearance merchandising best practices.
• Use fitting rooms to welcome, inspire, and help guests.
• Support fulfillment and ensure merchandise from fitting rooms and guest service is moved back to the sales floor throughout the day.
• Demonstrate a culture of ethical conduct, safety, and compliance.
• Work safely, complying with all safety policies.
• Support guest services such as back‑up cashier, order pick‑up (OPU) and Drive‑up (DU) while complying with beverage laws.
• Create a welcoming experience by greeting guests as you complete daily tasks.
• Engage with guests to help solve their specific needs.
• Thank guests and express appreciation for shopping at Target.
• Perform additional duties based on business needs.

REQUIRED SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE

• Strong interest and knowledge of apparel products and accessories.
• Welcoming and helpful attitude toward all guests and team members.
• Ability to communicate on multiple devices and operate handheld scanners and other technology equipment as directed.
• Effective communication skills.
• Work independently and with a team.
• Resolve guest questions quickly.
• Maintain focus and composure in a fast‑paced environment while accomplishing multiple tasks.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS & WORK CONDITIONS

• Accurately handle cash register operations.
• Climb up and down ladders.
• Scan, handle, and move merchandise efficiently and safely, including lifting up to 15 pounds and occasionally up to 44 pounds.
• Flexible work schedule, reliable attendance.
• Work in varying temperatures, humidity, and other elements on the sales floor, Drive‑Up, and carry‑out.
• Remain mobile for the duration of the shift.
