About the Opportunity:

We are looking for a Sales Development Representative (SDR) that is confident in both qualifying inbound leads, as well as going after outbound leads. You will be responsible for making initial contact with leads as they come into our pipeline, helping educate prospective clients on our products/services, qualifying them, and either helping with simple sales or transitioning to more senior account managers.

Leads may come in via our main sales phone number, contact forms, live chat, trade shows, social media, and everything in between!

We attend many trade shows and you will be responsible for following up and engaging with the hundreds of leads we come back with. You must be comfortable making dozens of calls per day and building rapport with cold to warm leads. You will play an important role in representing our brand, product and company, so it is crucial you are passionate about helping customers and making the sale.

Your work will have a direct impact on our growth, so this role has a lot of potential for advancement. You will partner closely with the sales team to identify opportunities that otherwise would be left undiscovered or that went cold. You must be fast-paced, as you will reply to many emails and calls for many customers each day.

Primary Responsibilities:
  • Take all incoming in-bound calls from our website and determine if qualified/are a business fit.
  • Utilize a variety of tools and technology to effectively source and target customers.
  • Consistently represent our product, brand and company in a way that makes us all proud. Effectively demonstrates to the customer how we can help grow their business and capture all key information.
  • Doing in-person demos on machines and product samples
  • Attend trade shows from time to time, talking with hundreds of companies
  • Exhibit exceptionally high standards in terms of timeliness, responsiveness and follow-up.
  • Maintain accurate notes in our CRM. Actively and consistently update sales activities, sales pipeline, and all sales data.
  • Build strong relationships with prospects to ensure success. Partner with Sales Reps and Account Managers to nurture new business opportunities.
  • Continually expand your knowledge of our customer’s marketing and general business needs.
  • 2+ years of B2B sales development experience.
  • Strong networking and relationship-building abilities.
  • High attention to detail, with a process and solution-oriented mindset.
  • Your customers love you and you have a demonstrated track record of creating value for them and their businesses.
  • Demonstrated record of meeting and exceeding your performance targets.
  • You are passionate and love to hustle.
  • Prior ecommerce business experience or knowledge preferred.
