Field Service Technician II (2nd Shift) – SAFRAN SEATS USA LLC

Safran Seats manufactures high-volume aircraft seats. As a Field Service Technician II you provide on-site support at Air Framer facilities to ensure seat installation, rework, and quality.

• A) Rework and stamp pickups as identified by Air Framer during aircraft build.
• B) Replace or troubleshoot faulty electronic components, adjusting misaligned panels or trim pieces.
• C) Sustain high-quality workmanship at all times.
• D) Respond promptly to all communication with Air Framer personnel and customers.
• E) Maintain positive rapport with Air Framer personnel and customers.
• F) Follow Safran and Air Framer safety guidelines.
• G) Submit accurate part order requests; understand POA/SOA process.
• H) Drive company van and other technicians safely around facilities.
• I) Attend daily standup and tie-in meetings.
• J) Adhere to Air Framer/Safran training requirements.
• K) Coordinate verbally with QA, Engineers, Lead Technicians, and other key personnel.
• L) Perform other duties as assigned.

• Education:
  
  High School Diploma or equivalent required;
  Associate’s degree in a related technical field preferred.
• Experience:
  
  At least 2 years of field service experience related to troubleshooting and repairs.
• Technical
  
  Skills:
  
  Mechanical aptitude, hand and power tools, basic knowledge of CMM’s, engineering drawings, and other technical documents; basic computer knowledge; proficiency with MS Office applications.
• Behavioral
  
  Skills:
  
  Excellent communication, customer service, ability to work efficiently under stressful situations, meet deadlines, manage multiple tasks, and travel as required.
• Driver:
  Valid driver’s license; ability to obtain passport.
• Travel:
  International and domestic travel required (approx. 2–4 weeks per year).
