Customer Service Specialist role at Red Monkey Foods, Inc.
OverviewPosition Profile:
Manages customer orders and requests, from beginning to end, ensuring total customer satisfaction with each customer experience. Closes orders and send invoices to customers. Actively engages with customers via telephone and e-mail. Processes documentation for customer orders. Provides customers with pricing and quotes orders. Schedules shipping to ensure timely delivery of customer orders. Resolve issues by working with various departments within the organization.
Resolve product or service problems by clarifying the customer's complaint; determining the cause, selecting & explaining the best solution, expediting correction or adjustment. Proper follow up confirming resolution. Other duties include Order Entry, Invoice submission, and tracking shipments.
- Manages Customer Orders and Requests. Processes customer orders from beginning to end, ensuring order accuracy and timely delivery. Closes orders in Process Pro, produces invoices, and issues invoices to customers. Monitors order processing to ensure timely execution and delivery to customers. Communicates directly with customers to resolve any issues with product order fulfillment.
- Provides Pricing and Quotes. Formulates pricing and quotes for customer orders based on product specifications and quantity ordered. May utilize pricing allowances and discounts based on the specifics of the order and customer. Quotes final pricing and finalizes orders with customers. Closes customer sales transactions and submits product orders.
- Actively Engages with Customers. Communicates directly with current customers and potential customers regarding products and services available for sale. Acts as a resource to customers and works with customers to answer inquires and fill the customer’s needs.
- Teamwork and Collaboration. Acts as a key member of the Customer Service Team. Actively engages in plant meetings, and provides timely feedback. May provide and/or receive input from across functional boundaries. Understands organizational mesh points and potential synergies. Integrates team efforts across business segments and channels. Understands available resources, both in the organization and outside of the organization and utilizes those resources when appropriate.

- Communication. Effectively communicates with all levels of the organization. Demonstrates sound presentation, and written communication skills. Executes including excellent telephone and customer service skills. Communicates effectively and professionally to both internal and external parties using appropriate methods and technology. Executes outstanding customer communication and relationship building techniques.
- Demonstrated Business Acumen. Understands cause and effect relationships with regard to variables that impact the business viability of the organization.
- Reports to Customer Service Manager
Education and Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent required. Prefer Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 2 years of progressive work experience executing customer service to multiple customers using phone, e-mail, and/or face-to-face interaction, including experience in order fulfillment processing and management.
- Good analytical ability, including the ability to formulate pricing options and develop customer quotes
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Must be organized and detail oriented, and be able to manage multiple tasks with varying priorities
- Must have data entry experience
- Must be innovative and performance and quality driven
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel.
