This part-time role requires physical stamina, including lifting and prolonged standing. You will coordinate with various departments and adhere to established healthcare standards to ensure quality patient care in a collaborative team environment.

• Utilize the nursing process to deliver exceptional patient care.
• Maintain professional accountability for the care of assigned patients.
• Coordinate patient care in collaboration with other departments.
• Uphold patient rights and confidentiality at all times.
• Perform duties in alignment with Mercy's mission, values, and service standards.

Location: Springfield, Missouri
Type: Part-Time

• Licensure: Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program. Comparable education and successful licensure will be considered.
• Current LPN License: Must obtain and maintain a current LPN license in the state of practice.
• Physical Requirements: Ability to stand/walk for extended periods, bend, stoop, and lift patients with assistance (up to 50 lbs).
• Experience: Open to both new and experienced LPNs.
• Certifications:
  • Basic Life Support certification (American Heart Association) required within 30 days of hire.
  • LPN-IV Certification must be completed within 3 months of hire.
  • Additional certifications may be required based on the unit (e.g., ACLS, PALS, PEARS).
