Are you ready to make a difference in the lives of patients? As a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in our cardiac care unit, you will play a vital role in providing direct patient care under the guidance of registered nurses and licensed prescribers. Your responsibilities will include:
- Telemetry Monitoring: Keep a close eye on patient vitals.
- Medication Administration: Ensure patients receive the right medications at the right times.
- Patient Mobility Assistance: Help patients move safely and comfortably.
- Care Coordination: Work collaboratively with other departments to ensure seamless patient care.

Position DetailsExciting Sign-On Bonuses:
- Graduate Nurse Sign-On Bonus: $2,000
- Experienced LPN Sign-On Bonus:
up to $10,000
PTO Frontload: Enjoy up to 40 hours for full-time experienced LPNs!
Our 4B Cardiac Unit features 31 beds dedicated to adult cardiac patients, including those recovering from procedures like angioplasty and managing conditions such as CHF. Shift schedules include:
- Day and Night Shifts
- Weekend Rotation every 2 weeks
- Telemetry Monitoring
- Pacemaker/ICA Care
- Post Angio Care
- TR Band Management
- BiPap Support
- 5 Main Medication Drips
- Education: Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program; comparable education and successful licensure will be considered.
- Licensure: Must maintain a current LPN license in the state of practice.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to stand/walk most of the time, bend, stoop, and lift patients with assistance.
- Experience: Open to both new and experienced LPNs.
- Certifications: Basic Life Support certification required; IV Certification preferred.
