Senior Accountant job at Edge Staffing Partners. Reston, VA.
Our client is a growing Gov Con seeking a Senior Accountant to join their team. This role will support month-end close, general ledger functions, journal entries and financial reporting.
This is a permanent, direct hire opportunity, offering a hybrid schedule, one day onsite in Northern VA.
Deltek Costpoint experience is required.
Responsibilities- Manage and maintain general ledger accounts, reconciliations, and journal entries.
- Support month-end and year-end close processes to ensure timely, accurate reporting.
- Prepare and analyze financial statements and supporting schedules.
- Ensure compliance with GAAP, company policies, and government contract regulations.
- Collaborate with internal teams to support audits and ad-hoc reporting needs.
