Job DetailsWe are seeking a dynamic and experienced Permanent Staff Accountant to join our team in the construction industry. This is an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual who wants to make a significant impact in a fast‑paced, team‑oriented environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing financial information to management by researching and analyzing accounting data and preparing reports.
The position requires a deep understanding of financial reporting, Deltek, year‑end audit procedures, and the construction industry.

- Prepare asset, liability, and capital account entries by compiling and analyzing account information.
- Document financial transactions by entering account information.
- Summarize current financial status by collecting information; preparing balance sheet, profit and loss statement, and other reports.
- Substantiate financial transactions by auditing documents.
- Maintain accounting controls by preparing and recommending policies and procedures.
- Guide accounting clerical staff by coordinating activities and answering questions.
- Reconcile financial discrepancies by collecting and analyzing account information.
- Secure financial information by completing database backups.
- Prepare special financial reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing account information and trends.
- Maintain customer confidence and protect operations by keeping financial information confidential.
- Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
- 5+ years of experience in accounting or related field, specifically within the construction industry.
- Proficient in accounting software, particularly Deltek.
- Strong understanding of financial reporting and year‑end audit procedures.
- Excellent mathematical skills.
