Summary
The Practice Group Analyst collaborates with strategic initiatives to support the financial performance of the firm and its practice groups. Responsibilities include financial analysis, management reporting, and project coordination.
LocationReston, VA office. Hybrid work schedule.
Responsibilities- Provide technical expertise in developing financial reports and summaries, creating and maintaining spreadsheets and analysis, and preparing presentations.
- Create reports and analyses highlighting financial performance related to budgets, production, fees, and revenue.
- Analyze and communicate with internal stakeholders and international colleagues on financial topics, including current state and forecast at the matter and client level.
- Conduct thorough research and data collection to fulfill assignments using firm tools and databases.
- Coordinate projects and implement best practices in project management.
- Compile and analyze progress reports and follow up with lawyers on matter plans requiring modification or client communication.
- Work on special projects supporting the firm’s strategic initiatives.
- Other duties as assigned.

Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) including vLookup and Pivot Table. Preferred experience with Power
BI, and previous experience in a law firm or professional services firm. Proficient in summarizing and deriving answers from large data sets.
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Marketing, or related field.
Minimum Years Of Experience3 years of experience in financial analysis, marketing, accounting, or similar work.
