Job SummaryThis position is for an Electrical Engineer who will prepare electrical system designs. The role requires strong teamwork, problem‑solving, and a can‑do attitude to innovate designs.
Major Responsibilities- Evaluate, select, and apply engineering methods with independent judgment under senior oversight.
- Develop, review, and coordinate design documents with suppliers, disciplines, and customers.
- Produce basic engineering deliverables such as drawings, specifications, and calculations.
- Perform electrical design, including single‑line diagrams, panel schedules, schematics, and load lists.
- Prepare material requisitions, specifications, and bills of material for non‑standard and off‑the‑shelf equipment.
- Interpret and apply codes, standards, and customer requirements to design documents and specifications.
- Conduct document and design checking as required.
- Demonstrate leadership qualities with emphasis on continuous improvement and team building.
- Assist in forecast preparation, quantity take‑offs, and change order tracking.
- Foster a work environment based on openness, trust, communication, teamwork, empowerment, innovation, and satisfaction.
- BS degree in Electrical Engineering with 1‑2 years of relevant experience.
Basic Qualifications
- United States citizen or legal right to work without sponsorship.
- Must complete pre‑employment drug screen and background check.
Minimum Qualifications
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office programs, Visio, and common computer programs.
- Knowledge and application of NEC code and ANSI/IEEE Standards.
- Knowledge of cable design and sizing.
- Knowledge of electrical systems, schematics, and electrical equipment layouts.
- Familiarity with industry‑wide electrical system calculation/design tools such as ETAP, CAD 2D, and electronic Cable Management System.
- Familiarity with Setroute.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- EIT/FE registration.
