Bechtel Corporation seeks a Senior Electrical Engineer to lead the design of the Turbine Island and Balance of Plant for the AP1000 nuclear power reactors in Poland. You will deliver electrical system design, coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, ensure compliance with codes and standards, and support project execution. Strong organizational, teamwork, communication, and problem‑solving skills are essential, as is a commitment to quality.

• Perform electrical systems engineering activities, including use of ETAP.
• Develop and validate wiring diagrams, control logic, system calculations, 1‑line and 3‑line drawings, schematics, and equipment sizing.
• Create original design layouts, drawings, and specifications in accordance with established design standards.
• Coordinate electrical engineering efforts with specialty groups, contractors, vendors, and construction teams.
• Assist project and construction management in identifying and complying with electrical requirements.
• Prepare installation and maintenance documentation.
• Conduct design reviews and verify compliance with codes, standards, and customer requirements.
• Maintain clear, effective communication with internal and external stakeholders.
• Demonstrate leadership qualities and continuous improvement practices.

Bachelor’s degree (or international equivalent) and 8‑10 years of relevant work experience.

• Authorized to live and work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
• Professional Electrical Engineering license.
• Experience in nuclear power plant design (or DOE facility) and in a quality and safety environment.
• Strong understanding of NEC code, ANSI/IEEE standards, and industry regulatory guides.
• Hands‑on experience with ETAP and other electrical system design tools (CAD 2D, cable routing software).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other computer programs.
• Knowledge of Bechtel Standard Application Programs (BSAPs) and Engineering Department Procedures (EDPs).
• Excellent oral and written communication and organizational skills.
• Experience in construction interface and resolving field problems.
