Systems Engineer, Cybersecurity
This role supports a secure IdAM/ICAM technical development program as a Platform Engineer, responsible for designing, building, and maintaining reliable, resilient cloud-based platforms used by software development teams. You’ll work closely with developers, cybersecurity engineers, DBAs, and architects to deliver enterprise software solutions in cloud environments.
Responsibilities- Design and implement robust platform and cloud infrastructure solutions.
- Support enterprise software development in customer cloud environments (AWS).
- Provide hands‑on engineering guidance to mission teams.
- Maintain and secure cloud infrastructure (patching, upgrades, configuration).
- Collaborate with security engineers to remediate security scan findings.
- Work across cross‑functional teams (Dev, Systems, Security, QA).
- BS degree with 6–10 years of hands‑on systems/platform engineering experience.
- Strong AWS and cloud platform experience.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience working in secure, cross‑functional environments.
- Automation tools (Ansible, Terraform, Jenkins, Git Hub Actions, Packer).
- Containers and orchestration (Docker/Podman, Kubernetes).
- Serverless technologies (AWS Lambda).
- Security accreditation processes.
