Job Summary

Our client is looking for a Senior Pipe Stress Engineer to support the design and analysis of piping systems for industrial projects. In this role, you’ll perform detailed pipe stress analysis in line with ASME B31.3/B31.1 standards, develop piping models using Bentley Auto Pipe
, and review piping isometrics against established span tables. You’ll work closely with layout and pipe support teams, review the work of others, and help deliver safe, reliable, and cost‑effective piping designs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform detailed pipe stress analysis in accordance with ASME B31.3 and/or B31.1 codes
  • Model piping systems using Bentley Auto Pipe to assess flexibility, stability, and equipment nozzle loads
  • Review piping isometrics based on span tables and design requirements
  • Check and verify stress analysis work completed by other engineers
  • Collaborate closely with layout designers and pipe support engineers to ensure high‑quality designs
  • Coordinate with other engineering disciplines and vendors as needed
  • Provide technical guidance and take on limited lead responsibilities when required
Required Skills & Experience
  • Strong knowledge of ASME B31.3 and/or B31.1, as well as other relevant piping codes and standards
  • Hands‑on experience with pipe stress analysis software (
    Auto Pipe required
    )
  • Proven experience performing and reviewing pipe stress calculations
Education & Qualifications
  • AA/AS degree or Certificate in Engineering/CAD with 7–8 years of relevant experience,
    or
  • 9–12 years of directly related pipe stress engineering experience
Additional Requirements
  • This role follows a part‑time telework arrangement
    , requiring a minimum of three days per week onsite at the assigned office or project location
  • Onsite schedule will be coordinated between the employee, supervisor, and project leadership
