Requisition

Bechtel is the licensing, engineering, procurement, and construction partner on Terra Power’s Natrium team. The Natrium plant will deploy a 345 MWe sodium fast reactor with advanced molten salt energy storage, producing more than 500 MWe of power.

The candidate will be responsible for executing, monitoring, and reporting interferences for all of Engineering and reporting to the PE/PEM. When not performing interference responsibilities, you will work in the Smart Plant 3D model designing and preparing drawings/documents for General Arrangements, Equipment Locations, and piping isometrics drawings.

• Executing, monitoring, and reporting interferences for all of Engineering.
• Arranging & coordinating 3D model reviews for areas per the project schedule or directed by the PE/PEM.
• Performing S3D modeling to support generation of General Arrangements, HVAC orthographic drawings, or piping isometrics.
• Coordinating 3D model activities, interference reconciliation within the discipline and with other physical disciplines.
• Ensuring engineering designs performed by the discipline team are coordinated with the overall team and consistent with project technical requirements and scope.

• AA/AS or Certificate in Engineering/CAD with 7–8 years of experience, or 9–12 years of relevant work experience.

• Pass a pre‑employment drug screen and background check including verification of employment and education.
• Experience using Smart Plant Interference Manager.
• Hands‑on experience using a 3D piping design platform and isometric extraction (S3D preferred).
• Knowledge and application of ASME B31.1 and/or B31.3 codes.
