# Project Overview:

The selected candidate will initially be placed on one of our four Liquefied Natural Gas Plant Projects in the US Gulf Coast Region for our Energy Global Business Unit, but we may also require the selected candidate to have future mobility to one of our other Global Business Units in a different location. The ideal candidate will have market sector/ sub sector construction industry experience in  
** energy**  (liquefied natural gas),  
** manufacturing and technology**  (semiconductor, chemical, pharmaceutical, data centers, fire power generation),  
** infrastructure**  (aviation, rail, roads/bridges),  
** mining and minerals**  (water treatment plant, mineral extraction, metal refining), &  
** nuclear, security, and environmental**  (nuclear power epc, power distribution, combined cycle, defense and space, environmental cleanup). As needs arise in our growing business, there will be expectation for the candidate to be fully mobile.

Job Summary:

In this role, you will provide automation support to project teams, including setup, training, application use in work-process, software quality assurance and control, reporting, database administration, and close-out of all construction automation software and applications. Your technical knowledge will help ensure applications and software meet user requirements and are compliant with work processes.  LI-BH1

# Major Responsibilities:

+ The Construction Automation Engineer is responsible for establishing and administering the suite of Construction Automation applications. This includes, but is not limited to, the following applications:
Unifier, Power Apps, AI  enabled solutions, TEAMWorks, Set Route, WITS (Weld and Welder tracking system), Smart Completions, SSRS, Bechtel Productivity Services (BPS) (Xfighters), AWP Tools and DCS/ MAP.

+ Maintain existing and create new Unifier and Power Apps Workflows.

+ Work with the Project Team to establish the requirements for Construction Automation Systems to support construction work processes.

+ Coordinate with design engineering, supply chain, project controls, and other departments to establish automated data transfer between applications.

+ Configure BSAPs and other applications to meet project requirements.

+ Understand reporting requirements for each application and configure reports accordingly. Ensure reports are accurate and functioning as intended.

+ Review/trouble-shoot data for accuracy and completeness. Identify and address anomalies.

+ Provide ongoing administration to each BSAP.

+ Provide training and technical support to end users, including field engineering, supervision, administration, project controls, and other site personnel.

+ Interface with corporate BSAP administrators to change functionality or configuration of applications to meet project specific requirements.

Education and Experience Requirements:

+ Requires a University Hire with 1-2 years of experience or 5-6 years of relevant work experience

# Required Knowledge and

Skills:

+ Knowledge of engineering and construction methods and processes customarily acquired over time through specialized instruction and practical experience is required.
