In this role, you will work with our Corporate Project Controls Team and be responsible for the cost analysis and control activities across the Bechtel Group of companies with significant non-routine requirements or for cost activities that require a high degree of technical skill. You will prepare cost studies, updated procedures, provide training, review cost trends and develop and implement requirements for cost control.

Your detailed analysis will provide innovative solutions to cost engineering challenges.

"This position is designated as part-time telework per our global telework policy and will require at least three days of in-person attendance per week at the assigned office or project. Weekly in-person schedules will be determined by the individual and their supervisor, in consultation with functional or project leadership"

• Performing routine cost estimation, analysis and control activities as directed.
• Coordinating the non-routine cost engineering/planning and scheduling needs of Corporate Project Controls.
• Coordinating the implementation of cost monitoring and control standards, techniques, systems and reports.
• Coordinating the development and accuracy of cost reports.
• Preparing specific budgets according to established standards and procedures for EPC functions.
• Collecting and classifying cost data.
• Performing budget allocation and reporting/cost control regime for a specific construction discipline or a group of disciplines.
• Identifying and preparing cost trends for management's attention.
• Managing change management and trending Capex.
• Performing the development of project-specific account codes and recommendation of appropriate modifications and revisions.
• Performing the development and application of unit rates (cost and working hours) to quantity breakdowns.
• Preparing cost studies using historical data, statistical analysis and cost and quantity comparisons.
• Providing projects and GBUs with cost support as needed.
• Developing and providing training to cost engineers and other project controls professionals as needed
• Maintain the Corporate Project Controls training schedule and the logistical administration.
• Any other responsibilities as directed by the Corporate Cost Chief

• Requires bachelor's degree (or international equivalent) and 8-10 years of relevant experience or 12-14 years of relevant work experience

• Experience in Project Control/Cost Management.
• Experience in engineering and construction management projects, usually acquired over time through specialized instruction or hands-on experience.
• Experience in engineering, procurement, contracting, construction and commissioning processes, according to Bechtel's operational standards.
