Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Ultrasonographer to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in sonography and be proficient in performing diagnostic imaging procedures. This role requires a keen understanding of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology, as well as exceptional patient care and communication skills. The Ultrasonographer will work closely with physicians to provide high-quality imaging services, particularly in the fields of maternal-fetal medicine and obstetrics/gynecology.
Responsibilities- Perform ultrasound examinations on patients, ensuring high-quality images for diagnostic purposes.
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to determine appropriate imaging protocols based on patient needs.
- Maintain a thorough understanding of anatomy and physiology to accurately assess and interpret ultrasound results.
- Adhere to aseptic techniques and safety protocols during procedures to ensure patient safety.
- Document and maintain accurate records of all ultrasound procedures performed.
- Communicate effectively with patients to explain procedures, alleviate concerns, and provide comfort during examinations.
- Stay updated on advancements in medical imaging technology and techniques relevant to sonography.
- Assist in training new staff or students in ultrasound procedures as needed.
- Certification in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or equivalent credential from an accredited institution.
- Experience in maternal-fetal medicine and/or Ob/Gyn preferred.
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and diagnostic radiology principles.
- Proficiency in sonography techniques and equipment operation.
- Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with patients and healthcare team members.
- Ability to provide compassionate patient care while maintaining professionalism in all interactions.

Pay: $953.98 - $1,148.88 per week
