As a Caregiver at Executive Homecare of Fairfax, you will play a pivotal role in providing essential personal care and assistance to our clients in the comfort of their homes. You will be part of a compassionate team dedicated to improving the lives of individuals in need. Responsibilities- Assist with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs)
- Provide support with bathing, grooming, dressing, and personal hygiene.
- Assist with mobility, transfers, and ambulation.
- Medication Reminders
- Provide reminders for medication according to prescribed schedules.
- Support clients in managing their medication routines.
- Meal Preparation and Nutrition
- Assist with meal planning and preparation, adhering to dietary requirements.
- Monitor and encourage proper nutrition and hydration.
- Companionship and Social Interaction
- Engage clients in meaningful conversations and companionship.
- Accompany clients to appointments and social activities.
- Health Monitoring
- Observe and report changes in clients' health status to the care team.
- Document care provided and any notable observations.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous experience as a caregiver or similar role preferred.
- Certification in CPR and First Aid preferred.
- Compassionate and empathetic attitude.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to follow care plans and work collaboratively within a team.
- Certification in PCA, CNA, HHA.
