Executive Lounge Attendant – Job Description

Crescent Hotels & Resorts is honored to announce an exciting opportunity for a talented Executive Lounge Attendant for the JW Marriott Reston Station.

The JW Marriott Reston Station is a 28‑story landmark with 247 rooms, expansive meeting space, and a tower of JW Residences, located in Reston, Virginia, adjacent to the Silver Line Metro with easy access to Washington, D.C. and the surrounding region.

Responsibilities
  • Assist guests with food and beverage needs in the concierge lounge.
  • Provide information about local attractions, hotel facilities, restaurants, and entertainment.
  • Make reservations and arrangements for events, transportation, dining, tours, and other services requested by guests.
  • Procure services and reserve facilities as needed, including babysitter services, athletic clubs, and other amenities.
  • Comply with brand procedures and standards for check‑ins, check‑outs, cash handling, and other operational protocols.
  • Assist guests with requested services such as mail, faxes, and other support tasks.
  • Maintain attendance, punctuality, and availability on a regular basis.
  • Perform any other job‑related duties as assigned.
Required

Skills and Abilities
  • Communicate effectively in English.
  • Self‑starting personality with an even disposition.
  • Maintain a professional appearance and meet appearance standards.
  • Deliver excellent guest communication and service.
  • Transport up to 30 pounds through a crowded area continuously during the shift.
  • Volunteer to “pitch‑in” and support co‑workers as a team player.
Performance Standards

Customer Satisfaction – Maintain professionalism, courtesy, and respect toward guests and associates at all times.

Work Habits – Meet and exceed hotel standards for procedures, dress, grooming, punctuality, and attendance; adapt to change and seek help when needed.

Safety & Security – Adhere to hotel security policies, including key controls, safe lifting practices, proper chemical handling, and hazard reporting.
